Abandoned

I feel strange affection for the old and abandoned places, somehow they're full of mistery, whispering their long forgotten stories... I love to imagine people who lived there, their lives, their rituals, their desires...

On one of my storlings around the city, with a camera in my hand, I ran into this beauty. A small and friable house, abandoned, standing quietly just near the cemetery, among big, new, concrete buildings. It seemed lost in time and place somehow...I curiously pressed the doorknob. The door was open. I carefully walked in.........

Remember those old switches?  My grandpa used to have it!

And inside....Isn't it magical?

It can't be seen quite well, but those are snowdrops at the bottom..

This will be a location for my next fairytale photo shoot, with my 13-year old student in the main role. She doesn't know it yet, because she came unprepeared to the lesson ;). I will surprise her with this announcement when she learns her etudes well ;)
