New recycled bags - the saga continues! Or keep calm and sew on...

Don't know if I mentioned it earlier, but I'm getting ready for the handmade fare that's going to be held in my town on June 23rd. This is going to be first physical appearance of my products in public, so I'm super excited...and terribly busy. Still, despite lack of time to do all  the things that have to be done by then, I found sewing quite therapeutical for my poor, fried brain.

I wrote about my first recycled bag here, followed by few  new ones I made in past few weeks. They were all made of old skirts and shirts and my printed illustrations and they will certainly find their place on my selling desk at the fair, as well. ;) So, here they are:

For a Saturday  walk with a friend :)
For a visit to the library

For a quick shopping in the market place
The next one is called Madeleine because it reminds me of 19th century afternoon tea, served with madeleine biscuits, described in detail in the novel by M. Proust. It's made of an old tank top that I can't wear because it's too small and decorated with an old doily I bought at the flea market..

And this one is my favourite, I think that I'll keep it for myself for obvious reasons ;)

And, of course, here are some of the scenes behind the creative process :). This cat is struck by very strong Oedipus complex lately and he is following me everywhere..:))

My cinycal dad said that "every animal instinct this cat had, died", which is SO not true!! :))

Well, that's it, I'm still in the learning process of sewing, but I'm quite happy with these, considering that 2 months ago I haven't had a clue about it :)
