Aspire to inspire before you expire

Since everyone here is sharing their links of inspiration, and many of them inspired me as well,  I decided to share some of my most recent inspiration boosters, maybe they do someone good, too ;)

In the flood of street style fashion blogs, this one, by young street fashion photographer YoungJun Koo stands out with it's subtleness, high quality photography and insightfully captured details that distinguish one's style making it unique.




I've been watching quite a lot documentaries lately, but the two of them left deep impression - "The artist is present", about famous artist Marina Abramović, and the other one is "The Woodmans", about famous artistic family and especially their most important member-Francesca Woodman, one of the greatest photographers of 20th century, her work and early tragic end.

I'm again in the phase of listening to music, since there are times when it annoys me. The quirky music choice by French internet radio station Fip, amuses me lately :).


"The Descendants", easy to read, funny and quite well written book, according to wich a film of the same name was made, was a good pastime companion.


And in the end, attending concert by Damir Urban, one of very few Croatian true artists, left me inspired for days after...


And there is always inspiring  nature awakening after long and tiresome period of darkness..I will simply ignore the fact they announced snow for tomorrow.

    sviđa mi se ovaj street fashion blog, baš je osvježavajući :) ja još nisam stigla pogledati Woodmanse, nadam se da ću ovaj vikend. Moram si pustiti ovaj internet radio- već dugo nisam čula ništa novood muzike što bi mi se svidjelo, do te mjere da skoro više ništa i ne slušam, a ovo što puštaju na našim radio stanicama je čista katastrofa :)

    Evo sam odmah kliknula na radio, uvijek mi se sluša nešto francusko :).

    A dkumentarce odmah, odmah skidam. Marinu želim pogledati još od prošlog ljeta jer nisam stigla na SFF-u, a za Woodmanse tek čujem, ali me jako zanimaju :). Hvala, hvala :)

      Ustvari znam ko je Francesca Woodman, ne sjeth se po imenu odmah :).

    Meni je Marina odavno nešto posebno, sve otkako sam čula za onaj njen preformans kada je sjedila u muzeju i gledala u ljude, to mi je bilo tako nekako moćno.
    Meni su streetstyle blogovi uvijek najveća inspiracija.
